How to Upload and Use a Jupyter Notebook in the AIV Notebook Widget?

Modified on Wed, 9 Oct, 2024 at 7:14 AM

  1. Prepare Your Jupyter File: Ensure you have a valid Jupyter Notebook file (.ipynb) ready for upload.
  2. Open Your Dashboard: Log into your AIV account and navigate to the desired dashboard where you want to use the notebook.
  3. Upload the Jupyter File:
    • Drag and Drop: Drag your .ipynb file directly onto the dashboard grid view.
    • Upload Button: Alternatively, click the upload button located in the bottom menu bar to select and upload your .ipynb file.
  4. Access the Notebook Widget: Once uploaded, the Jupyter file will automatically appear in the Notebook widget within the dashboard.
  5. Interact with the Notebook: Click on the notebook in the widget to open it. You can now view, edit, and run code cells directly within the AIV environment.
  6. Run Code Cells: Execute code cells by selecting the cell and clicking the Run button or using keyboard shortcuts (e.g., Shift + Enter).
  7. Save Changes: If you make any changes to the notebook, ensure you save them to retain your work.
  8. Share or Collaborate: If needed, share your dashboard with other users who have Dashboard privileges for collaborative work on the notebook.
