To pass the values of hidden columns by clicking on selected rows or columns in a pivot table in AIV, follow these steps:

  1. Set Up Your Pivot Table:

    • Create a pivot table with your desired settings. For example, use Country as the row and Month as the column.
  2. Access Row/Column Settings:

    • Click on the Settings icon next to the row or column you wish to modify.
  3. Select Hidden Column Values:

    • In the settings window, locate the 'Value' list. This list displays all available columns that can be passed when a row or column is clicked.
    • Choose the hidden column you want to pass values from, such as Product Line.
  4. Save Your Changes:

    • After selecting the desired hidden column, save your changes.
  5. Test the Functionality:

    • In Preview mode, click on the country name in the pivot table. When clicked, the backend data sent will include the unique product line value corresponding to that country.

By following these steps, you can efficiently pass hidden column values based on user interactions with the pivot table.
